Pontiac Flex Fuel Vehicles
Pontiac discontinued production after the 2010 model year and leaves behind a very small flex-fuel footprint. Only two Pontiac models were ever factory FFVs in North America. The Montana SV6 3.9L V6 minivan — a sibling of the Chevy Uplander, Buick Terraza, and Saturn Relay on the GM U-body platform — was a flex-fuel vehicle in 2007 and 2008, but only for the Canadian and Mexican markets. The Pontiac G6 3.5L V6 midsize sedan was flex-fuel for the 2009 model year only. That is the full list.
Pontiac's more popular models — the Grand Prix (including the 5.3L V8 GXP), Torrent compact SUV, G8 sport sedan, Solstice, GTO, Bonneville, Aztek, and Vibe — were never factory flex-fuel vehicles, despite aftermarket E85 conversion being common in the Pontiac enthusiast community (particularly for the G8). If you see a Pontiac with a yellow gas cap, verify the VIN before assuming FFV status.

Pontiac-specific E85 tips
The G6 FFV is a single-year model.
Only the 2009 G6 with the 3.5L V6 is a U.S. factory flex-fuel vehicle. 2005–2008 and 2010 G6s are not FFVs regardless of trim.
G8 E85 is aftermarket only.
The Pontiac G8 GT and GXP are popular E85 conversion candidates because their GM 3.6L and 6.0L engines share architecture with genuine FFVs, but the G8 itself was never factory flex-fuel. Any E85 use requires a flex-fuel kit and retuning.
Montana SV6 FFV was not sold in the U.S.
American Montana SV6 buyers received the non-FFV variant; the 3.9L V6 FFV version was reserved for the Canadian and Mexican markets. This is worth confirming on any gray-market import.
Assume non-FFV unless the VIN confirms it.
Pontiac's flex-fuel program was so small that the default assumption for the brand should be gasoline-only. Decode the VIN before ever filling with E85.
